Community of Owners News. There was an AGM on 18th of March 2011. All the present officers were standing for re-election again. More information about the CoO can be found on the website at www.mcccoo.org There is information about the activities of the Social Club at www.mccsocialclub.org The Social Club runs a bingo night every Monday in the Restaurant. Country Club Quiz nights will be on the first and 3rd Tuesdays of each month. . Mazarrón FC Mazarrón lost 0-3 at home to Muleno on Sunday. . There is report here. All the stats and reports for the last season can be accessed from here. There is also a copy of the latest press release from Los Amigos, including the first notice of the next Gala Dinner in February! For a report and pictures of the 2nd Gala evening in February, hosted by Los Amigos de Mazarrón, please visit the Gala page. Segura water reserves stand at 56.3%, (20.01.12), up 4.9% in the last 2 months (TVE text). The level for the whole of Spain is 62.0%. (up 0.5%) The opening of the AP7 reduces the time from San Javier Airport to less than 45mins and reduces the time from Almeria Airport to about 1hr 20mins. Flights into Almeria Airport are much cheaper than others and could be considered in future plans. I have updated the instructions from San Javier Airport (22.06.08) The new RM3, the Mazarrón - Totana motorway is now open, and so is the RM2 from Alhama to the A30. This gives a viable non-toll alternative to east Cartagena and San Javier. Now that the RM23 is also open, it takes about 10mins longer than using the AP7 and paying the toll.
