Ruddles County 4.7% (Greene King)
500 ml
bottle
A world famous ale, originating from England’s smallest
county – Rutland.
Ruddles County is famed for its dry, bitter flavour, which comes from
using the rare Bramling Cross hops. Many liken the flavour to burnt
toffee and caramel which, when combined with the dry bitterness, gives a
very pleasing taste. It really is the ultimate bitter-lovers' bitter.

Abbot Ale 5.0% (Greene King)
500 ml bottle
Brewed longer for a
distinctive, full flavour. Greene King first brewed Abbot Ale during the
1950s and its popularity has never waned. Indeed, it was recently named as
one of the top 10 ales that licensees would most like to stock.
Abbot Ale
is brewed with pale crystal and amber malts to give an attractive colour
and rich, malty taste. Challenger hops give it bitterness with a spicy
overtone and to really boost the taste and aroma to the maximum it is
late-hopped with Fuggles to provide the floral tones and fruity esters.

500 ml bottle
Premium Kentish
Ale. First brewed in 1990 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the
Battle of Britain.
The glowing
amber of this premium Kentish ale has wonderfully generous aromas of tangy
malt, soft raisins and sweet oranges, freshened by the floral grassy notes
of three different Kent-grown hop varieties (flowery Target, tangy First
Gold and orange-fragrant East Kent Goldings). In the mouth, the finely
balanced flavour opens with a blast of rounded malt before the rousing,
almost spicy hops follow through to provide a complex, multi-layered
finish. “The Bottle of Britain” |
